Sunday Morning ramble

Those who know me well know that I have a very soft spot when it comes to bedding...yesterday I found a really fun set at The Christmas Tree Shop, I love that place, I know it's hard to believe but if you really look you can always find some great deal there!

This rosy flannel queen set was $9!!!!

I love to mix and match, the white linen pillow cases are very old, I found them in an antique shop and embroidered our initials on them.

 

I also sew some myself and have a big pile of vintage fabric pillow cases, and if you want to learn how to make a duvet cover yourself check out this tutorial I posted a while back.

Waiting for snow

They say that we will wake up to snow tomorrow, here in Vermont if it doesn't snow by Thanksgiving people begin to feel uncomfortable, everywhere you go you it's the main topic of conversation, the boys can't wait, they are dreaming of snowboarding, their boards are all lined up downstairs, our winter gear is all ready and all we can think of is white, so here is a little bit of our indoor white to get you in the mood.
